Ancient Art

 

Art is like a language to communicate.

Many people are interested in ancient art. Some art tells us about religion while some tell us about feelings.

 In the following picture it explains us about an art museum. Jesus Christ is the only person who came alive after death. People tortured him to death.

Some people understand art better than words. To learn about Christianity, they look at pictures to learn about them. Art is the most beautiful thing. It is mixed with colours and by only looking at it, you can feel it.

The most famous painting of Jesus Christ is, of course, The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci. In, the Last Supper, Leonardo da Vinci hoped to capture Jesus Christ dining for the final time with his apostles. The Last Supper was painted as a fresco and, like most of Leonardo's work, contains many hidden aspects.

Jews in the time of Jesus were not allowed to paint images. Since Jesus pretty much never left Palestine, it would have been hard for him to get a portrait painted.

In ancient times, people used to communicate with symbols and signs and later on we started learning languages and words.

Jesus was a great person, even when everyone troubled him. He forgave them.
